Present research topic:
Application of modified ion exchange resins for the treatment of leachate wastewater
Abstract:
Fly ash leachate wastewater contains high concentrations of different heavy metals such as selenium, molybdenum and chromium in anionic forms (Selenate, Chromate and Molybdate), with very high sulfate concentration (> 10,000 mg/l) in the background. The removal of these anionic heavy metals in the presence of high sulfate poses a great challenge for researchers.
In our Lab we are currently investigating the treatment of leachate wastewater using anion exchange resins modified with multifunctional group material for significantly greater removal of these heavy metals.
